Singer, circa 1879

This 48 inch already has the shorter sping (compare the 1876-model). But is still has the old 1870's 'open head', which had disappeared from the singer catalogue in 1880.

It is a bike with character, that might have been fitted with the anchor-like Carter-brake, since there is no brake on the front wheel. More info: look at the 1876-model.
